The steps of my design process
Crafting a thorough design brief is essential for ultimate success. It helps you to understand the business objectives, and competitors and how to stand out in the crowd, target market, and how the company should be perceived in the future.
Crafting a successful project starts with understanding your objectives and establishing the right direction for it. Once that’s done, we can then begin our research – analyzing styles of work & mood boards, looking into competitors and exploring design psychology like colors & typography.
The fun part is here; creating ideas that can solve the brief. Any concepts that have potential are further polished until we feel they can meet our requirements. Not only do they need to fulfill the required specifications, but also exceed expectations!
The best concepts will be put together into a powerful PDF/PPT document, displaying the brand in different contexts and applications. The design thinking that went into those ideas will also be highlighted, providing an insightful journey of the creative process.
After incorporating the feedback, we can finalize the project. With approval in place, we will generate quality files in multiple formats and colors (e.g. vector EPS/SVG, PNG, JPG, etc.) including primary, reversed, and black & white.
Establishing a timeline for a project is essential for its successful completion. By setting deadlines, we can create an organized plan to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and with quality results. Agreeing to a timeframe prior to starting the project helps me stay on track and achieve our goals in an efficient manner.
